Why are we?
God has created, named, and claimed each young person (Eph. 1:3-6) as a beloved child through Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Each young person is a unique member of the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12) worthy of love and a full life in Christ (Col. 2:6-7)
GOOTH joyfully gathers as a spiritual family in response to God’s grace and Jesus’ call to discipleship in scripture: “As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” (John 20:21)
Who are we?
We are Middle School (6th-8th grade) and High School (9th-12th grade) Christians who gather regularly at Clemmons Presbyterian Church. This spiritual family transcends boundaries of school, activities, and geography and is a great place to form life giving relationships. GOOTH are fully integrated in life at CPC and help with worship, music, nursery care, committees, A/V, and more.
All youth are welcome – period.
What do we do?
We seek to grow in faith and discipleship through a three-fold model of service, scripture study, and fellowship. Fun and joy surround our group as we pray, learn, serve with local mission partners, play games, go on trips, and share our lives with one another. In the summer we go on mission trips and attend middle/high school conferences (typically at Montreat and Massanetta Springs in VA).
YOU are invited to join the fun – we can’t wait to see you soon!
