I am pleased to invite you to come worship at Clemmons Presbyterian Church. We have a healthy mix of all ages in our church and you may find a place here for you!
This is an active family of faith that is busy with worship and lots of choirs and handbells, busy with Bible study with lots of classes in Sunday School and groups during the week, busy with MISSION at many of the ministries in the community and within our congregation, and busy with fellowship with exciting youth activities, adult options and an active senior adult group. Read this week’s announcement sheet.
Come and visit with us so that you can see if God might be calling you to worship, study and serve here too!
William Hoyle – Pastor
“Joseph: The Journey to Forgiveness” is the topic for the next six-week, Thursday morning Women’s Bible study. The first class meeting for this study is October 27, 10-11:30 a.m. Register now by clicking here or by calling the church office.
All of us know what it's like to be hurt or betrayed. Often it's a small breach such as being spoken to rudely or overlooked in a time of need. Other times we experience lies, gossip, or harsh words that cut us to the core. Nowhere do we see forgiveness played out more fully in Scripture than in the biblical story of Joseph. This six-week study explores what God has to say to us about grace and forgiveness through Joseph's story of trial and triumph found in Genesis 37-50. The workbook contains 5 studies for each week along with a viewer guide for taking notes from the weekly video sessions.

“Names for the Messiah” Advent Study (Wednesdays Nov. 30-December 21, 6:15- 7 p.m.) Bill Hoyle leads this study by Walter Brueggeman
In Isaiah 9:6, a divine utterance is given to us using four royal titles-Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. Names for the Messiah ponders each royal designation and how the people understood it then, how Jesus did or did not fulfill the title, and how Christians interpret Jesus as representative of that title.
Christians have claimed from the beginning that Jesus was the Messiah foretold in the Old Testament. In this study, best-selling author Walter Brueggemann tackles the questions: "What were these expectations?" and "Did Jesus fulfill them?"
