Rev. Leigh Wisner

Leigh Wisner joined CPC in January of 2022. She is a native of Houston, Texas and a graduate of Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She is married to Mitch Hargis, and they have two beautiful children: Jonah (8) and Riley (4). Leigh was ordained a First Presbyterian Church of Norman, Oklahoma where she served as Associate Pastor for Youth for three years. Following her service there, she served at a small, inner-city racial-ethnic church called Trinity Presbyterian in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Leigh has served churches in South Texas, St. Louis, Missouri, Winston-Salem, and High Point, NC, and she is delighted to serve at Clemmons Presbyterian.

Trained in transitional ministry, Leigh is passionate about helping congregations craft beautiful and authentic worship, explore theology, and become adaptive, life-long learners.

She serves as chair of Salem Presbytery’s Pennies for Hunger committee and as a Parish Engagement Pastor for Parish C of Salem Presbytery.
