Things to do with the Grandkids:
- Choose a family Bible verse that talks of God’s love and care (Psalm 18:2, Psalm 5:11, for example). Invite your grandchildren to use their creativity and imagination to illustrate the verse. Have it framed and have the children decide where to hang it in your home.
- Tell your grandchildren stories about when you were little and also about when they were little. Tell them about the joy you felt when they were born.
- Share some activity that you enjoyed as a child with your grandchild (for example: fishing, going to the library, planting flowers, etc.)
- Bake bread or cookies with your grandchild
- Play the gratitude game. Ask your grandchild to name something they are grateful for that starts with each letter of the alphabet (“A” Thank you God for apples)
