Kaylee Godfrey Hilston
Kaylee Godfrey Hilston joined the staff at CPC in December 2020 as the Director of Youth. In November 2021, she also became the Interim Director of Christian Education. Kaylee previously served as the youth minister at Clemmons First Baptist Church and was ordained by First Baptist Church on Fifth Street in Winston Salem, NC in 2019.
Kaylee earned her bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Appalachian State University in 2015 and the Master of Divinity degree from Wake Forest University School of Divinity in 2019. After completing undergraduate, Kaylee spent ten months with AmeriCorps NCCC FEMA Corps, doing community service and disaster relief across several southern states. Kaylee is passionate about mission work, caring for our young people and our planet, and continually learning and growing.
When she’s not at work, you can find Kaylee taking a nap or hanging out with her husband Henry, a litigation attorney in Winston Salem, and with her standard poodle Merlin. They spend time walking and hiking together, and the humans enjoy cooking and hosting friends. Kaylee considers herself the “resident millennial” on staff and loves to make everyone laugh with her antics.
