Children’s Ministries

Christian Education Mission:
The educational ministry of Clemmons Presbyterian Church encourages a thinking, nurturing climate for a lifelong, challenging biblical inquiry into the Presbyterian/Reformed perspective of the Christian life.
From an early age children are invited to participate in the life of CPC. On Sunday mornings, Sunday School for all ages is provided, children worship with their families, they participate in choirs, serve as acolytes, and collect the monthly hunger offering. On Wednesday nights, the children have the opportunity to meet up with friends during dinner and share their gift of music by participating in Music Makers and Joyful Noise Choir. During the summer, Vacation Bible School is offered to children ages 4-completed 5th grade. The halls, playgrounds, pews, and dinner tables ring with the sounds of children at CPC.
Activities for Children at CPC:
Parent and children’s activities are planned to support and expand each child’s faith journey. Special Events such as Bible Sunday with Parent and Children’s activities, Advent Family Workshop, Vacation Bible School, and Worship Education are planned by the Children’s Team.

The Nursery Team
The nursery team insures that our Nursery is a loving and safe place for our infants and toddlers on Sunday mornings, as well as for most church wide activities. In addition, this group keeps connected with parents by providing a monthly SPLASH Newsletter, filled with faith-based age level activities.
