Governance and Award Selection Appendix
The Board of Trustees governs the endowment and administers the award selections and announcements. Below are guidelines for the Board to follow as it administers the endowment. These guidelines can be modified by the Board to better govern the Endowment.
A. Members of the Board of Trustees have administrative responsibilities for the income derived from the endowment. The Board can modify the use of the fund as long as the new use is consistent with the intent of the endowment.
B. Trustees serve 3-year terms. They can be elected by the Board to serve an additional term. Trustees are required to go off the Board for 1 year before they can be reelected. A Trustee is not required to be a member of the church.
C. Trustees elect a President and Vice President to serve for 3-year terms, not to exceed 2 terms in a particular office.
D. A youth member of Clemmons Presbyterian Church is appointed by the Board of Trustees to serve for either 1 or 2 years as an advisor to the Board.
E. Clemmons Presbyterian Church provides secretarial and accounting support to the Endowment and Presbyterian Foundation.
F. Members of the 2018 Board of Trustees are;
Marv Dickerson, President, Elizabeth Morris, Class of 2010
Leighton McGill, Frankie Muse, Class of 2019
Charlie Stone, Vice President, Class of 2018
Reverends William Hoyle and Patrick McElwaine, ex-officio members
Anne Welch, Consultant, non-voting memberber

- The President is responsible for overall management of the awards process and maintains communication between Clemmons Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Foundation.
- The Vice President is responsible for assuming the responsibilities of the President in case they are not able to do so.
