Jennifer Ring Joins the PCUSA Young Adult Volunteer Program
Thursday, September 15th, 2011Jennifer Ring has joined the PCAUSA Young Adult Volunteer Program. The The Young Adult Volunteer Program offers exciting opportunities in Christian service and learning for young adults (19 to 30 years of age.) The Young Adult Volunteer Program has 15 sites in the United States and abroad and requires a commitment of one academic year. Young Adult Volunteers serve in communities of need. The job descriptions for the volunteers depend both on the needs of our partners and the skills of the Young Adult Volunteer. In their placements, volunteers work with a church or organization as well as develop Christian community and meet for prayer and Bible study and participate in vocational discernment with other Young Adult Volunteers.
Recently, Jennifer spoke to the congregation about her upcoming experience. You can read Jennifer’s moving words by clicking on the link below.
We can’t wait to hear more about her service over the next year as she serves with the other young adults in the program.
