Gooth This Week – Jay’s last Gooth before Sabbatical

• Cobbler Party! Jay’s house, 4:30-6pm
• Outdoor games & fellowship!
• Bring a lawn chair or lawn blanket, if desired
• Rain Plan, if necessary: Cobbler at CPC, will make decision by 3pm, via facebook groups & email
• 133 Windsor Cir, Advance, 27006; Kinderton Village neighborhood, behind Lowe’s Foods on Hwy 801
  • I-40 to exit 180 (Hwy 801 North), turn right at light onto Yadkin Valley Road
  • Turn right onto Old Towne Drive (this is the back entrance)
  • Take first left onto Town Park Drive
  • Take second left onto Windsor Circle. My house is across the circle. Park ONLY on the house-side of the street
  • Alternate parking available at pool/clubhouse. From Windsor Circle, take first left halfway around circle. Continue through stop sign and up the hill to clubhouse.

Habitat Mission Opportunity

Gooth 16 years & older,

Greetings on behalf of Clemmons Presbyterian Church’s Mission Committee.

I have been in contact with Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County and they are allocating up to 15 slots for Saturday, May 5th for us to once again offer our volunteer services. However, I will need to reserve these slots on behalf CPC.

If you are interested in being a volunteer at the Habitat construction worksite on Saturday, May, 5, 2012, please email and let me know. No construction experience is necessary. Just a willingness to pitch in and help where you are needed.

• o      We will continue planning for Youth Sunday

Youth Sunday Schedule

Youth Sunday Rehearsal, Saturday, March 24

• o      12:00-12:30 bring your own lunch; 12:30-2:00 rehearsal
• o      There are some things you can do without being here on Saturday and some you can NOT, but you MUST let me know if you plan to miss. You may NOT participate in the skit if you miss Saturday.
• o      Depending on each youth’s job, some may be ready to leave early (ushers & greeters) and others asked to stay a little later (music, skit, or sermons).

Youth Sunday, March 25

• o      Be here at 8:00am; Brunch served between services
• o      Musicians be here 7:45
• o      Skit may need to be here sooner, too

IMPORTANT Youth Sunday Notes

• ·       Youth signed up to provide MUSIC (solo or ensemble) during the service (vocal or instrumental), I need your title & composer/arranger of what you would like to do ASAP.
• ·       What to wear? No denim jeans. No short skirts/shorts (short skirts are even shorter when you are on a raised platform). Otherwise, church clothes you are comfortable in.
• ·       Will you be here? I MUST hear from everyone by Sunday (Mar 18) if you plan to be here or not. Please let me know.
• ·       If you plan to attend Youth Sunday, I hope to see you at Gooth this Sunday, March 18.
